Joseph W. Lorenz has completed training at the Mechanical Contractors Association of America’s (MCAA) Institute for Project Management in Austin, TX.
Mr. Lorenz is a Project Manager, and has worked since 2012 with New York metro-area mechanical construction, service and energy services firm, Trystate Mechanical. “The program brought much value that I am taking forward,” said Mr. Lorenz. “The training has enhanced my knowledge to more effectively run project activities, including: labor management, productivity, cost control, leadership, coordination and contract negotiation. In addition to the training, the opportunity to network with project managers from across the country, sharing best practices and exchanging thoughts and ideas, was invaluable.”
The MCAA Project Management Institute provides intensive training in project management combining both classroom instruction and out-of-class educational exercises working with real life case studies.
“Trystate and its parent company, Talen Energy, place much importance and priority in continuing education programs for our team,” said Michael Liberta, President of Trystate Mechanical. “MCAA Institute for Project Management program is specifically designed to meet the real world issues facing the construction industry and supports our goal of providing clients with the latest best practices to anticipate and manage project challenges and surpass expectations.
